I initially created the design using vectors so I could scale it as needed once I knew the final dimensions of the blanket, and the size of each square.

I took my vector design and turned it into 50x80 pixel art (exported here at 10x), with each pixel intended to become a square in the final product. I'm really happy with how well this worked.
